I am a Junior Research Fellow at Korea Institute for Advanced Study. In May 2013 I completed my PhD in philosophy at Brown University, where I was advised by Jaegwon Kim. Before coming to Brown, I received an MA and BA in philosophy and BS in astronomy from Seoul National University.

My main interests are in metaphysics and the philosophy of mind and action. Issues in metaethics and epistemology are also intimately connected to my work. I’m currently working on a project on action explanation and rationality.
