Holomorphic Symplectic Geometry

Presentation:

Holomorphic symplectic geometry is an exciting area of research where

algebraic geometry and differential geometry can interact. The aim of

the school is to introduce basics on holomorphic symplectic geometry to

the graduate students and researchers who are working on algebraic geometry

or differential geometry. Following the school, there will be a workshop on

holomorphic symplectic geometry on March 13-16 at KIAS where more

advanced recent research topics will be discussed. The school will serve as

a preparatory course for the workshop.

The main lecture course will be delivered by K. Oguiso based on the lecture

notes Compact hyperkaehler manifolds by Daniel Huybrechts. (In: Calabi-

Yau manifolds and related geometries, by  Mark Gross, Daniel Huybrechts

and Dominic Joyce, Universitext, Springer, 2003.) In addition, there will be

exercise sessions and some special lectures to give motivation and examples.

학생 참가 신청:

이번 겨울학교의 주 대상은 대수기하 및 미분기하(symplectic manifolds, complex

manifolds)를 전공하는 대학원 학생들입니다. 강의와 더불어 연습 시간의 토론과

문제 풀이 등을 통한 집중적인 연습과 훈련을 목표로 하고 있습니다. 참가를 원하

는 학생들은 지도교수님과 겨울학교 참가에 대한 상담을 하신 후, 다음 내용을

적어서 (최재유, donvosco@kias.re.kr)로 신청해 주시기 바랍니다:

이름, 성별, 이메일 주소, 소속 학교 및 재학 중인 과정, 전공 분야, 지도교수,

겨울학교 주제와 관련해 이수한 과목들, 겨울학교에 참가하고자 하는 이유.

참가 신청 마감일은 2007년 1월 5일입니다.

 

등록:

참가 신청이 승인된 분들은 1월 초에 메일을 통해 등록에 대한 자세한 안내를 보내

드리겠습니다. 등록비로 20만원(교수), 10만원(연구원), 5만원(학생)을 받을 예정입니

다. 등록하신 분들께는 겨울학교 기간 중 숙소와 식사가 제공됩니다(2월 4일 저녁

식사 제외). 숙소로는 방 2개가 있는 콘도를 사용할 것이고, 교수 및 연구원은

두 명, 학생들은 네 명이 사용할 수 있도록 배정할 예정입니다. 교수 및 연구원 중

콘도를 단독으로 사용하기를 원하시는 분들은 등록비 외에 약간의 추가비용을 부담

하시면 됩니다. 참가 신청하실 때 같이 문의해 주시기 바랍니다. 등록비는 1월 중에

개설되는 KIAS 계좌로 입금해 주시면 됩니다. 자세한 안내는 1월 초에 발송될
