In 2006, the annual Asian Workshop on First-Principles Electronic Structure Calculations will return to Korea Institute for Advanced Study, Seoul, Korea, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.

Started as the Korea-Japan Joint Workshop on Electronic Structure Calculations in 1998, this workshop now brings together active participants in electronic structure theory from all around the Asian countries and provides them a forum of exchanging ideas and enjoying in-depth discussion on the methodology and applications.

Scientists from other regions are also welcome to join us.
