KIAS-Hanyang Joint Workshop on

Multifaceted Skyrmions and Effective Field Theory

October 25 - 27, 2004


Objective of the Meeting 

The workshop will be devoted to the recent revival and developments of skyrmions and related solitons in diverse areas of physics, i.e., particle, hadron and condensed matter physics with the highlights on the structure of pentaquarks, dense hadronic matter and condensed matter.

Place of the Meeting

The meeting will take place on the campus of Korea Institute for Advanced Study (KIAS), Seoul, Korea.

Visa Information:

For the participants from most countries, the entry visa is not needed for short stay in Korea. (Please visit http://www.mofat.go.kr/en/visa/e_visa.mof for the informations.)
It can be very time-consuming for participants from some countries to obtain proper travel papers. Please keep in mind that the visa application process could take up several months in extreme cases.
